A LITTLE BOY WHO'S LOST HIS HEART
The silent and stoic type, Grottokit rarely is one to speak first unless with family. It's not that he doesn't have anything to say; it's just that he would rather observe those around him than engage when he doesn't feel it's a good time. He talks when he likes, not when he's expected to.Grottokit also never tells a lie and sticks strictly to his word. Promises are promises, and what he says is what he'll do... but this doesn't mean he won't twist his words around. They say the quiet ones are the ones you have to watch out for, and this is definitely the case for Grotto. He'll make someone promise to tear off their own limb and beat themselves with it without a single stutter if they're not careful.He's also has a taste for the macabre, and his nest is constantly scattered with prey bones or pelts. He keeps a stash of bigger bones outside of camp.As an apprentice and a warrior, Grottokit will aim to be the perfect warrior to make his mother and father proud. He does what they ask when they ask it, enforces their rules and ideals, and aims to uphold ShadowClan's values above everything else. If he can't be an Enforcer by title, he'll earn it through honor.
⋆ - Usually silent around non-family unless spoken to. Prefers to observe what's happening around him in a way that could come off as eerie to others⋆ - Has an odd habit of not blinking when paying attention to something he finds interesting⋆ - Values Dawnstar above the rest of his family and holds a large amount of respect for her. Borders on obsession at times; willing to do what she says when she says it without explanation or reasoning⋆ - Loyal to ShadowClan and ShadowClan alone. The others are beneath them and could never hope to match their status, and he'll fight to ensure things remain that way⋆ - Blinded by his loyalty. Remaining suctioned so closely to Dawnstar ruins opportunities to expand on other relationships, and as a result, he ends up slightly outcast from the rest of his Clan. This will start to bother him at some point as he grows older⋆ - Hungers for battle and focuses heavily on combat training. While this ensures his battle skills are beyond impressive, his hunting and stealth skills suffer⋆ - Outwardly callous toward those he dislikes or considers weaker than himself. Not afraid to pick fights at borders⋆ - As time progresses, Grotto will become more standoffish and outwardly aggressive toward others in ShadowClan.

FEAR'S NOT ENOUGH, THEY HAVE TO TEAR HIM APART
⋆ - Later in life, Grotto ends up siring several litters of kits with ShadowClan warriors he deems worthy in order to ensure Dawnstar's and Icestar's bloodlines remain in the Clan.⋆ - Becomes an apprentice early and starts to train with both the Dark Forest and StarClan. Grotto is impartial to both and only wants to learn how to crush his enemies beneath his paws.⋆ - During late apprenticeship/early warriorship, Grotto is the target of an assassination attempt by a Clanmate. He kills them and brings Dawnstar their pelt as a trophy, but the attempt instills a long-lasting sense of paranoia that causes him to lash out at well-meaning ShadowClan cats, even his siblings and potentially his parents. His mental state continues to deteriorate gradually beyond this as the moons pass until it plateaus at a low point.⋆ - An injury sustained as an early apprentice leads to long-term health problems (mostly so I can have an excuse for him to sit on the sidelines without being lazy about it when I have to juggle multiple things at once)⋆ - Life sometimes gets a little bit crazy for me, so in case I need an out for his character without letting him drop off the map when things get too busy to handle, I do have a plan in place o/ will probably end with him protecting kits/apprentices from a predator or sacrificing himself to save a sibling.
